Gypsy Rebel Rabble are a Dublin based, Irish, folk band with a reputation for energetic live shows. They merge a furious DIY punk song-writing and performance ethic with a smooth vocal style plush with beautiful harmonies. Toward the end of 2011 they released their live album on independent record label "Excellent Guitar Riff Man" Records followed by their single 'Norah's Waltz' on a split vinyl with Blind Yackety. They have a number of great festivals under their belt. The Shannon Winter Music Festival , Vantastival, Knockanstockan, Dunmoreast Bluegrass Festival, Jack of Diamonds Rhythmn and Roots, The Maiden City Bluegrass Festival, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Light Colour Sound and Longitude to name a few. They took their first studio album 'Take My China', recorded by Gavin Glass, on the road with extensive tours of Ireland, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Last year they have released The Bastard Baby Brown EP along with their third official video. They also spent ten days touring the UK with Chas Palmer Williams. They will be celebrating the release of their Second Studio album 'Gypsy Over Rebel Under Rabble' in Whelans on the 17th of January.
