Ayodele ~Return of Happiness~ is a multi-instrumental group of people from different musical backgrounds. We love to blend ethno and tribal music from all over the world using different types of drums, percussion instruments, unique ethnic instruments and vocals. Our vocalist Kasheba uses her voice to open the gates to another realms of existence. Her chants and shamanic singing are layering upon the other instruments creating an awe inspiring atmosphere. Radek, Michal, Equardo, Lucas and Lukasz are responsible for the rhythmic part of our music. They seek inspiration in rhythms from around the World. We perceive drum as a vehicle for the Spirit to travel beyond the limitations of our physical body. Jake is a multi-instrumentalist. He plays the balafon, a unique type of xylophone that originates from the African Continent where it was considered a sacred instrument and played during ceremonies and rituals. The sound of balafon has a mesmerizing effect on the mind, taking us deep to the journey inside. Marcin plays the didgeridoo, perhaps the most ancient instrument known to mankind. The sound of didgeridoo is like a voice of the Earth. It was and still is used during rituals and ceremonies for healing, inducing visions and for journeys out of the body. Our music can be described as a journey to the ancient times or to remote places where people used to gather in circles, dance around bonfires, share their wisdom, knowledge, visions and dreams. We believe that music and sound when used with the right mind frame and intention can be powerful tools for healing and transformation. During our performances we generate a positive vibration that pulsates inviting and giving listeners the sense of unity and belonging to a bigger group – the human family. Our vision is to create music that opens and allows access to the sacred space within.
